Automobiles in Germany's City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Authorities reported they were alerted by a man who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to police.

Automobiles, walls and mailboxes were marked, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a release.

Law enforcement say they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored substance.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then located numerous other smeared cars and house walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under regulations outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Officials say early analysis suggest the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to where it came from; authorities are not yet cognizant of any harm in connection with the occurrence," they commented.

Local authorities said they were trying "to resolve the case" and have requested to the public for tips.

A high-ranking political figure said the vandalism left him without words and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This incident hits the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on a platform, recalling the killing of nine people by a shooter targeting people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
