Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
An official for the publisher said: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was reached following an review of allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards women.
The firm declined to specify the reasons for its decision, adding: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, having sold over six tens of millions of copies globally in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, which features a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.
Television and Literature
His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
The publisher's decision comes after the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss last fall.
